Child Safety Standards
Last updated: 4 November 2026
Flagg has a zero-tolerance policy towards child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page sets out our standards, published in particular under Google Play's requirements for social apps.
1. An adults-only app
- Flagg is for people aged 18 and over. Date of birth is required at sign-up and access is refused under 18.
- Any account we learn belongs to a minor is deleted.
2. Strictly prohibited
- any content (image, video, text, drawing, AI-generated content) depicting or sexualising a minor;
- soliciting a minor, attempting to contact a minor for sexual purposes (grooming), sextortion;
- sharing, requesting or promoting child sexual abuse material, including through external links;
- human trafficking and any form of child exploitation.
3. How to report
- In the app: on a profile, post or comment, tap the menu, then “Report”, and choose the reason. You can also block the person.
- By email, even without an account: safety@getflagg.com. Never attach the illegal content itself: describe it and tell us the profile name or where it is.
- If a child is in immediate danger, call the police (112 in Europe, 911 in the US, or your local emergency number). You can also report to the NCMEC CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org, or in France to PHAROS at internet-signalement.gouv.fr.
4. What we do
- Reports related to child safety are handled by our team as an absolute priority.
- The content is removed and the responsible account is permanently banned, without notice.
- Evidence is preserved securely, solely for the authorities, for as long as the law requires.
- We report to the competent authorities: the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline, the French PHAROS platform, and the authorities of the country concerned.
- We cooperate with law enforcement and respond to lawful requests.
5. Legal compliance
Flagg complies with applicable child protection laws, including French and European law (such as the Digital Services Act) and the laws of the countries where the app is available.
6. Dedicated contact
Child safety point of contact: safety@getflagg.com. This address is read as a priority. Publisher: Benjamin Taieb, 11 rue Jacques Duchesne, 75019 Paris, France.
